Our Story: Born from Compassion, Guided by kindness
At Time4Holidays, our story began with love, compassion, and a heartfelt wish to bring happiness to others.
Our founder’s journey was deeply inspired by caring for her late father-in-law during the final stages of his life. Seeing the physical challenges he faced, she dreamed of giving him the opportunity to experience the beauty of Sri Lanka, enjoy precious moments with his family, and create memories they could treasure forever. With this hope in her heart, she even purchased a specialised remote-controlled wheelchair to help make the journey possible.
Sadly, as his health rapidly declined, the trip never happened. However, this profound experience strengthened her lifelong belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience happiness, adventure, love, and meaningful moments with the people they cherish.
Beyond her work in care, our founder is also an experienced florist. Through her love of flowers, she developed a special appreciation for the beauty and uniqueness of every living thing. She believes that, just like flowers, every person is different and deserves kindness, patience, understanding, and the right support to flourish. Just as flowers bloom when nurtured with care, people can thrive when they feel valued, respected, and supported.
Inspired by this philosophy, her love of travel, and her passion for sharing the beauty and culture of Sri Lanka, she founded Time4Holidays with a simple but meaningful vision: to help people experience the joy of travel in a way that feels comfortable, welcoming, and deeply fulfilling.
With formal qualifications in Disability care and more than eight years of dedicated experience in the care sector, including her current work as a Senior Support Worker, our founder brings genuine compassion and practical care experience to the heart of our business.

What Makes Us Unique: Standard Luxury, Extra Support We partner with highly experienced local tour guides in Sri Lanka who know the land inside out. While we feature four carefully curated itineraries on our Destination page, we understand that travel can bring unexpected changes. If a scheduled daily activity isn’t your style or suitable for you, let us know and we will try our level best to recommend or provide flexible, relaxed alternatives like local shopping or a gentle walking tour where possible.
A great holiday includes great food. We want you to enjoy the incredible flavours of Sri Lanka without any worry. We happily cater to dietary requirements, allergies, and specific food preferences. Just let us know your needs when making your booking, and we will work closely with our local culinary partners to see that your meals are safely and deliciously looked after.
While our tours are designed for any holidaymaker to enjoy, we offer optional, premium assistance for travellers who require extra daily support. For an additional fee, we can facilitate qualified, certified support workers to assist with:

⚠️ Important Note on Accessibility: Because many historic sites, hotels, and public locations in Sri Lanka lack wheelchair ramp infrastructure, all travellers must be mobile and able to walk to safely participate in our standard tour paths. Support worker requests must be formally submitted at least one month prior to your departure date to allow our team to arrange coordination based on local provider availability.
To maintain our high standards of safety and smooth logistics for the group, we run structured, group-escorted tours rather than fully customisable, individual itineraries. However, we are fully committed to your personal care; if you or your travel partner have a specific accessibility, dietary, or comfort requirement, please let us know when booking, and we will do our utmost to accommodate these individual needs on the tour where possible.
